Q: What is the difference between OEM and compatible printer cartridges?

A: OEM cartridge stands for “original equipment manufacturer” cartridge. An OEM cartridge is an original cartridge manufactured by the original brand manufacturer. A compatible cartridge is one which is not manufactured by the original manufacturer. These cartridges may be remanufactured ones or new cartridges manufactured by a third party factory. Each cartridge is carefully manufactured and tested.

Q: Why buy compatible cartridges?

A: There are a number of advantages. The compatible inks and toners save you up to 80% of the cost, and the printing quality is equally as brilliant as the original cartridges. Compatible printer cartridges print an equal or even greater number of pages than an OEM cartridge; this reduces the cost per page and per cartridge. There is also a significant benefit to the environment too. Every cartridge can be reused or remanufactured between 3 to 7 times. By purchasing compatible and remanufactured cartridges will help to reduce the amount of solid waste getting disposed off into landfills.

Q: Will buying compatible cartridges void the warranty on my printer?

A: No. The printer warranty does not state this and it is ILLEGAL for the printer manufacturer to do so. Compatible printer cartridges do not void the warranty of your printer. In and very unlikely event, if a defect is found in any cartridges purchased from us before the expiry date on the package, it will be replaced under our 1 for 1 full replacement guarantee – directly to your door in UK. No Quibble! No Hassle!

Q: What if the printouts are streaky or a colour is missing when using new ink cartridges?

A: The reason might be the print-head in your printer is blocked. You need to run a head cleaning cycle using the software for your printer by consulting your user manual. If the problem still persists after cleaning, please contact us for further suggestions.
